A message from the Hull Parent Carer Forum!
Dear Parent Carers,
If your week has been anything like ours, it’s probably been a whirlwind of appointments, advocating, managing needs, and putting everyone else first. We know firsthand that when you are caring for a child or young person with SEND, neurodivergences, or complex needs, your own wellbeing is usually the very last thing on the to-do list.
Isolation and burnout are very real parts of our day-to-day lives. That is why Hull Parent Carer Forum has put together a series of wellbeing events and sessions designed entirely for you.
We want to offer you a safe, completely non-judgmental space to drop your shoulders, take a breath, and connect with other parent carers who truly "get it."
Whether you need a friendly chat, a moment to relax, or a night out to just let your hair down, there is a space for you here.
📅 What`s Coming Up?
We have attached our latest Events Calendar Poster above, filled with opportunities to take a well-deserved break over next couple of months. Whether it`s breakfast club our Parent Carer Celebration event or our summer "Party Time" celebration, we would love to see you there.
👉 How to Book:To view the full details for each session, check ticket availability, and secure your spot, please visit our website:www.hullparentcarerforum.co.uk/events
We would love you to be able to take a couple of hours for yourself. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you deserve to feel valued and supported, too.
If you are feeling anxious about coming alone, please let us know, we are always happy to meet you at the door!
