It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Bridgeview East. During community time we began our Christmas festivities, making decorations and putting up the tree. What a fantastic end to the week!!
What an amazing science lesson today. Our pupils experienced using a microscope for the first time and were so fascinated to see everyday materials up close. TD said the leaf looked like snake skin and LE said the sugar looked liked glistening crystals.
Today, Year 2 helped decorate the Christmas tree in their classroom. Mrs Latham thinks they’ve done a fabulous job! 🎄⭐️
This week Year One went on a local walk. We used a map to find local buildings.
The students learnt the numbers 1 to 20 in French and used them to compete a task matching up the numbers in English to French 🏴 🇫🇷 they worked together well to complete the interactive activities
Today pupils were awarded certificates for horse riding. Amy grade 1 and 2. Amy said:"Wow! Thank-you, I love horse riding" Alexa grade 1 and 2. Alexa said "I am so proud of myself and I am going to work hard to earn a rosette" Emma grade 1 and 2. Emma said, "I feel really happy"
