The Trust partners of Venn Academy Trust bring a long history of high-quality education and a strong pedagogy based in academic excellence based in both primary and secondary education.
Euler Academy Governance
Trust Members oversee the achievement of the company objectives; appoint new Trustees; can amend the articles of the company and hold the land and buildings in trust.
The Trustees have strategic oversight and accountability of the MAT (Multi-Academy Trust) and they delegate responsibilities to the LGB (Local Governing Bodies).
The Academy will have a local governing body which will be formed during the pre-opening phase i.e. in the 2019/20 academic year. There will be up to 11 governors who will represent the local community that the school serves.
We envisage representation from across education, the community, staff and parents/carers. During the year we will be looking to recruit to these vacancies and they will be promoted through our website.
If you are interested in registering your interest to become a governor please contact Helen Turner on XXXX and we will contact you to discuss further.
What is a funding agreement?
The funding agreement provides the legal framework for an academy or free school to operate in and is an agreement between the Academy Trust (Venn) and the Secretary of State. It sets out funding arrangements and obligations of both parties.
