Governance

The Trust partners of Venn Academy Trust bring a long history of high-quality education and a strong pedagogy based in academic excellence in both primary and secondary education.

Trust Members oversee the achievement of the Trust’s objectives; appoint new Trustees; can amend the articles of the Trust and hold the land and buildings in trust.

The Trustees have strategic oversight and accountability of the MAT (Multi-Academy Trust) and they delegate responsibilities to the LGB (Local Governing Bodies).

Euler Academy Governance

Euler Academy will have a local governing body from the start of the 2020/21 academic year.

There will be up to 11 governors who will represent the community served by the school. We envisage representation from across education, the community, staff and parents/carers.

During the year we will be looking to recruit to these vacancies, and they will be promoted through our website.

If you are interested in registering your interest to become a governor please contact Helen Turner on 01482 505030 or hturner@vennacademy.org and we will contact you to discuss further.

What is a funding agreement?

The funding agreement provides the legal framework for an academy or free school to operate in and is an agreement between the Academy Trust (Venn) and the Secretary of State. It sets out funding arrangements and obligations of both parties.
